Please join us for the 23rd Annual Colleges of the Fenway MLK Breakfast for faculty and staff. The 2021 MLK Breakfast will be held on Friday, January 29th, virtually via Zoom Webinar. Enjoy time to reflect on Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy with your colleagues.

The COF MLK Breakfast, hosted virtually by Simmons University, will feature a fireside chat with Dr. Wayne A. I. Frederick, President of Howard University facilitated by Callie Crossley, host of WGBH’s Basic Black.

About Dr. Frederick

Dr. Wayne A. I. Frederick was appointed the seventeenth president of Howard University in 2014. He previously served as Provost and Chief Academic Officer. Most recently, the Howard University Board of Trustees selected Dr. Frederick to serve as the distinguished Charles R. Drew Professor of Surgery.

About Callie Crossley

Callie is a Boston based radio and tv host, commentator, and public speaker. She appears on WGBH-TV’s Beat the Press, examining local and national media coverage, and hosts Basic Black, which focuses on current events concerning communities of color.
